About The President

Dr. Sheldon Dion House, born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, Illinois is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of OSC. Dr. House known by his family and friends as Sheldon-Dion, believes family comes before everything. It is evident by the bond Dr. House has with his family. And, the loyalty to his friends. Dr. House keeps his circle small and those closest to him near his heart and soul. Dr. House served the city of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools for more than 20 years before making the decision to retire and to begin the next chapter of his life, real-estate and home design. Dr. House was loved by his students and staff and was known for his nurturing and caring spirit. It was because of him that many young adults tapped into their true potential. For him, students were more than a test score or grade. Dr. House saw their desire to “become”. He saw their “potential” and their “destiny”. And, Dr. House committed to walk with his students through their process of “becoming”. He has the same commitment and focus when working with his clients and transforming spaces.

Dr. House said “good-bye'' to the school system and “hello” to his next true love. He is now introducing Sheldon-Dion to the rest of the world. This next chapter was not new to Sheldon-Dion! His love for real-estate began more than 25 years ago. Sheldon Dion’s first purchase was a massive undertaking on the Southside of Chicago, South Shore.

He took on a property that others saw as not being valuable or beautiful Sheldon-Dion saw the potential and loved the thought of bringing the property back to life and he did just that! The once abandoned Victorian would become a structure with the most vibrant colors, polished floors, charmed filled spaces, and decorated with the most unique and artistic pieces. Sheldon-Dion’s first project made way for many that followed.

His finished projects speak to the hearts and souls of their owners. They are a reflection of his love for his family and friends. Not only does Sheldon-Dion design his spaces, Dr. House does the same for everyone seeking his design expertise.
